The Northwest United States boasts some of the most beautiful forests, wildlife and variety of climates. 1. Draddy Springs State Park is located in Washington, northwest of Seattle. The park offers harbor seals, river otters, bald eagles, and a variety of other wildlife. During springtime, mountain laurel and snow wildflowers add rich colors to the rarer blooms of rhododendrons and mountain sanials.
2. Along the trail to Sequim Bay, Washington are several U.S. Forest Service ranches that offer rustic camping and meals. The heavily forested park offers plenty of picnic sites right in the midst of towering fir and pine trees.

8. If relaxing is your aim, stop at Wantaghouseand have a bite. The Wantaghouse at Harriman State Park has recently changed over into a museum allowing visitors to roam around the historic home and boat launch.
9. Circus in the Big Apple – New York is surrounded by plenty of Circus and Entertainment for the whole family. The New York Botanical Gardens, Fordham Lodge and Crouse Street Playhouse are only a few stops your family can make in between.
10. After your family ate, take the Wiregrass Path to view the Falls from Leaves Gap. Made popular by the Irish in the 1800s, Leaves Gap is accessed from a roadside sign and leads to a secluded coves and finally to a wonderful 400-foot plunge of water gushing over a rock ledge before disappearing beneath the grasp of the woods.
